Currane Ladies make Clamoraí hats

There’s been lots of activity at the Community Centre this week. The Currane Ladies have revived the tradition of making Clamoraí (strawboys) hats. The rye straw, which had to be specially sourced from North Mayo was thrashed and then woven into hats.
